So, as the title suggests, it's really not all about the furniture. Having recently completed a full house renovation, I can speak from the heart when I say that the window dressings are not top of the list of priorities to be completed.

There was wall stripping, plumbing, electrics, plastering, kitchen fitting, carpets, furniture, accessories and then...curtains and blinds. It's often the same when people call into our High Street showroom, window dressings aren't high on their list if they are having a lot of renovation work done. The flip side of this though is that now our renovation is completed and we have some stunning curtain poles and tracks fitted (Courtesy of Curtain Poles Emporium of course!), the window treatments are now one of the main things that people remark on. "Ooh I like your curtain poles" and "Where did you get those tracks?" are some of the comments we regularly hear from people. I expected the carpets and furniture to be the focal point, but this isn't the case at all.

Carefully selected Curtain Poles, Curtain Tracks and Fabrics can really enhance a room, they frame the windows and compliment other items such as lamps and furniture. They are the finishing details that can really make a room go from ordinary to special (And there's about 16,000 of them in hundreds of different styles and looks on this website)

So, as I opened with, it's really not all about the furniture.
